Tips For Buying LCD TV
This Is The World Where The Dealers Love To Cheat The Buyers, Coupled With Misleading & Incomplete Specifications On Part Of Manufacturers.
I Found Many People Posting Threads On Most Forums, "Buying A LCD TV" OR "Need Help, Buying A LCD TV", And The Most Of The Threads Include "What Is HDReady?" & "What Is FullHD?"
After Having A Survey In My Town, I Found That The Dealers Don't Keep FullHD LCD's, Nor The Dealers Know What Is FullHD & Also People Lack Of It, People Just Go And Ask For A LCD TV, Check For 26",29", 32" & Buy It.
See This
SONY Bravia KLV-32V400A : V-Series
Specification :
Panel Resolution : 1366 x 768
Computer Formats : 640 x 480, 60Hz, 800 x 600, 56, 60Hz, 1024 x 768, 60Hz, 1280 x 720, 60Hz, 1280 x 768, 60Hz
Supported Signal : 480i, 576i, 480p, 576p, 1080i, 720p, 1080p.
The Specification Tells Us That This TV Accepts Signal Input Up to 1080p (1920 x 1080) Resolution, But Can Only Display It Upto (1366 x 768) Which Is The Panel Resolution, So If You View A 1080p HD Movie On This TV, The Internal Decoders Will Convert The (1920 x 1080) Relsolution Of The Movie To (1366 x 768), So What You See On The TV Is Not 1080p i.e High Definition.
Take Another Example
Lets Take A FullHD (1080p)
SONY Bravia KLV-32W400A : W-Series
Specification:
LCD Screen Size : 32" (81 cm), 16:9
Panel Resolution : 1920 x 1080
Computer Formats : NOT MENTIONED
Supported Signal : 480i, 576i, 480p, 576p, 1080i, 720p, 1080.
The Above Specification Is Clear And Tells Us This Is A FullHD TV, It Accepts Signal Upto 1080p And Displays It At (1920 x 1080) i.e FullHD, So If You View A 1080p HD Movie On This TV, Their Will Be No Conversion And Movie Will Itself Be Displayed At (1920 x 1080) Resolution, So What You See Is Itself HighDefinition (HD).
So While Buying A LCD TV, Just See The Panel Resolution, Not The Supported Resolution.
Can anyone recommend the top Managed Service utility for a small IT service company like mine? Does anyone use Kaseya.com or GFI.com? How do they compare to these guys I found recently: [url=http://www.n-able.com] N-able N-central security management
